In the summer of 2000, the CowParade moo-ved into New York City.  I took my camera out to take some pictures of the cows, especially those that are transit-related.  Here’s what I came up with.

TRANSIT RELATED COWS

Metro Cow
This was the first cow to have its picture taken by me.  It was located inside Grand Central Terminal, outside the station master’s office.

Survivor
A cow based on the TV show of the same name! It has the names of all 16 castaways from the first series underneath it, and a small writing on the back pocket: “DON’T VOTE ME OFF!” Survivor castaway Jenna even signed the other side of this cow!

Holy Cow!
A cow playing for the New York Yankees? I think she’d be better off grazing the grass at the Stadium. She's named for former Yankee announcer and player Phil Rizzuto’s famous “udder”-ance. Why not make a cow called by this expression?
